Shipping Policy

Processing Time
All soaps are handcrafted and often made to order. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for your order to be made and prepared for shipping. Larger orders, such as party favors or custom designs, may require additional processing time. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order.

Shipping Time
Shipping times vary depending on your location and the carrier’s schedule. Most U.S. orders arrive within 2 to 5 business days after dispatch, but delivery times are not guaranteed.

Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery location.

Local Pickup
Local pickup is available in San Jose, California. Orders for local pickup will list our PO Box address at checkout for processing purposes. After your order is placed, we will contact you directly to arrange a date, time, and pickup location. Please wait for confirmation before arriving to collect your order.

Carrier Delays and Delivery Issues
We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier, weather, or events beyond our control. Once your package has been accepted by the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to the customer.

Lost or Stolen Packages
Once a package is marked as “delivered” by the carrier, we are not liable for lost or stolen packages. Please check with your household members, neighbors, or local post office if you cannot locate your delivery.

Damaged Items in Transit
We take great care in packaging our products to prevent damage. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at info@purelyhandmadesoap.com with your order number, photos of the damaged item(s), and packaging. We will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier. Replacements or refunds will be issued once the carrier has approved the claim and reimbursement has been received.

Incorrect Shipping Information
Please ensure your shipping address is correct before completing your order. We are not responsible for packages delayed or returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer. Any reshipment costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
